Seattle Fire, responding to a call reporting an accident at the corner of 11th and E Pike Tuesday morning found a car lodged inside Zion’s Gate Records. Despite wearing a closed secuirty gate and helmet at the time, there was significant internal damage to the store. Local contractors last reported a full recovery for the store is expected. Bob’s Auto Body confirmed the silver sedan suffered only minor injuries.Seatle PD cheif John Diaz, commenting at a press conference later that day said, “Naturally, with Seattle Hempfest approaching so soon, a certain number of such incidents involving Dub and Reggae Record Stores are expected.”Details were revealed that the record store was wearing a suspicious backpack the morning of the collision. A full search of the bag confirmed marijuana possession. Zion’s Gate Records has been found liable for causing the crash, and will face criminal drug charges.
